But occasionally I'll be back at my parent's house in Florida, or near there in the forest, and I'll see Teddy, my dog. We'll play, and I'll rub his belly - sometimes he'll bark when he sees his old friends, and they come over. I'll talk to their owners, who are obviously in on the fact that it's a dream, I was thinking "could it be a miracle? could my dog have returned to me, a little older, and with a whiter face?" but then I'll notice that the palm trees are in the wrong place, or that the flowers are in bloom when they shouldn't be, and it's just a dream.
So, knowing that it will end, I sit down on the ground, call my dog over, and rub his belly as I wake up.

The face wall is up. Directly across from my door, in the space that used to be flanked on either side by bathroom doors, is the face wall. Ten friends, two expressions each. The kids get to see some new people, I get to see my friends, and the ghost that lives in the bathroom* doesn't mind the company.
The pictures were taken over break, printed up on some inexpensive photopaper using the school's bubblejet printer. Nothing special, and the printer itself is so shaky that it rattled its feed tray quite loose. (Notice how uneven the white margins are on some of the pics).
In the domestic front, I washed all of my clothes, put them out to dry, and then realized a typhoon was coming that would soak them thoroughly - and soak them it did. You see, I realized that fact when it began pouring down rain ... while I was already at school.
So now, all my laundry has been re-done, the floor in the main room is clean and conditioned, and I've installed halogen lights with a remote. I'd go on record stating I probably have the most advanced lighting in this city right now, ha.
This weekend David comes over, and we go to see a few friends, register for our Japanese Language Proficiency Tests, and bro down. I might also pick up a desk and new futon in the process.
Oh, and cutie and language study buddy Sayaka leaves for Australia.
That is all.
*Four years ago a kid jumped to his death, or was pushed. It's the only bathroom like this and the windows are both bolted shut, and have iron bars on the outside. But only this small section of one part of the third floor, nowhere else in school.
